Dream Analysis

It is entirely possible to verify for oneself that we are part of a caring and intelligible universe.
The verification is a kind of proof since it is a way of understanding that is based upon a realization that our mind constantly communicates with us and for our benefit.
Communications from the mind are as profound as they are utterly appropriate to our circumstances, for while the scope of the mind is pervasive, its precision is always directed to what is personally and spiritually significant.

The dreams that visit us in our sleep are a doorway into the richest source of insights into our lives.
Guiding us to reach our highest, most meaningful, goals.
And helping us to understand and free ourselves from what blocks us from achieving them with excellence.

Curious?

What is Dream Analysis?

Dream Analysis, is a non-interpretive way of understanding the messages and meaning of our dreams.
Rather than relying on psychological interpretations, this method engages directly with dream material and its language.
The goal is to understand the messages our dreams are sending us about the problems and blocks we are facing, our most meaningful goals, and about the nature of dreams and the mind itself.
DA, which follows the principles of The Dialectic, can therefore free us from problems and negative states of mind, and guide us through that freedom to reach our most significant spiritual goals.
Making it a rational and spiritually transformative process.

Your Role

The Dreamer's Role

The Path of understanding our Self through Dreams is as profound and meaningful as it is challenging.
Each new level of insight and development comes with a corresponding "counter-attack" as the force behind the cause of our problems seeks to maintain its own kind of existence.
Therefore, those interested in Dream Analysis must be willing to pursue their personal growth and freedom from problems with genuine integrity, and with a desire to face those challenges to reach their most meaningful goals.
As such, participants need to demonstrate they have engaged in activities in pursuit of personal or spiritual development.

The Origins

History of DA

DA was formalized by Dr Pierre Grimes, author of "Philosophical Midwifery" and is part of the Ancient Wisdom tradition of the Hellenic and Platonic Philosophers.Homer's Iliad depicts the development of the hero Achilles from the worst kind of man to the best, through DA, showing that even the worst of men can remove their problems and achieve excellence.Plato highlighted the significance of DA along with the Dialectic in his works, while Socrates talked about the significance of dreams as being necessary to unblock an individual from what is preventing their movement to a higher level of understanding and Spiritual experience. It is therefore both Ancient, and new, in the rediscovery of this Rational and Spiritual tradition of healing and development.
